INsight Scholarships
Our goal is to make sure that everyone with the right skills can participate in Insight regardless of financial challenges. We offer several scholarships to help reduce the barriers keeping you from participating in Insight's programs and taking those first steps to launch your thriving career.
Need-based Scholarship
Insight awards this scholarship to enable Fellows to fully participate in the program without pressing financial distractions. Once accepted to Insight, Fellows will have the opportunity to complete a simple application to be considered.

Scholarship for Underrepresented Minority Groups
Insight has established this scholarship fund to help remove barriers for our Fellows from racial and ethnic backgrounds that are traditionally underrepresented in tech. Eligible Fellows will have the opportunity to complete a simple application process in order to be considered. Those selected will receive up to $3000.
Eligibility:
- Must be admitted into an upcoming Insight session prior to applying for this scholarship.
- Must complete the scholarship application in order to be considered.
- Available to Fellows participating in any Insight programs in all locations.
- Candidates must identify as one or more historically underrepresented groups: American Indian/Native Alaskan, Black/African American, Hispanic, Latinx, or Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander.
DCVC Deep Tech Scholarship
DCVC is partnering with Insight to offer Deep Tech Scholarships to further their mission of improving access to deep tech opportunities for underrepresented minority groups in tech, and providing Fellows with access to hiring opportunities with their portfolio companies. Two recipients will be awarded a scholarship of $5,000 to be used toward their program related expenses. Eligible Fellows will have the opportunity to complete a simple application process in order to be considered.

- Must complete the scholarship application in order to be considered.
- Available to Fellows participating in any Insight programs in all locations.

Gender Diversity in Tech Scholarship
This scholarship has been established to help remove barriers based on gender in the tech industry. Eligible Fellows will have the opportunity to complete a simple application process in order to be considered. Those selected will receive up to $1000.
Eligibility:
- Must be a person who identifies as a woman or a non-binary gender identity and be admitted into an upcoming Insight session prior to applying for this scholarship.
- Must complete the scholarship application in order to be considered.
- Available to Fellows participating in any Insight programs in all locations.
